About the Role

We are seeking talent with 3 to 5 years of working experience to lead customer-facing initiatives in our global automotive tier-1 B2B business. The ideal needs to have a global mindset which is essential to assure success in our global working environment with customers headquartered in Japan and our internal teams being globally based. 

Your Team

This position is part of respective Customer account teams, acting as a customer project specialist and collaborating across business units and departments, HR, finance, and quality to achieve business goals within the constraints of quality, budget, and time.

What You Will Do

  • Develop detailed project plans to outline scope, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Monitor progress against established schedules, ensuring milestones are met.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Identify potential project risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate regular updates and reviews with cross-functional teams to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Proactive resource planning and talent development
  • Leverage data-driven insights to support decision-making and optimize project outcomes.
  • Provide clear, actionable status reports to both internal and external stakeholders.

What You Need

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or related field.
  • Professional Experience: 3–5 years in project management, ideally in automotive connectivity or cockpit solutions for global teams.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong knowledge of automotive infotainment, telematics, or cockpit electronics; skilled in communicating technical concepts.
  • Leadership: Proven record of delivering complex projects on time, within scope and budget, in dynamic environments.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional collaboration and clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying risks and devising effective solutions.
  • Global Perspective: Experience managing multi-regional and cross-cultural projects.
  • Continuous Growth: Committed to staying current on automotive connectivity and user experience trends.
  • Excellent English and Japanese communication skills.
  • This combination of technical expertise, leadership, and collaborative mindset will enable a candidate to excel in managing projects at the cutting edge of connectivity and intelligent cockpit solutions.
