About the opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Associate Software Engineer to join our Generative AI team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers to develop cutting-edge applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) for summarization, classification, and question-answering. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate to gain hands-on experience with AI technologies, cloud computing, and software development best practices.

Are you a passionate and driven recent graduate eager to work with the latest in AI? We're looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join our growing Generative AI team. In this role, you'll play a key part in developing innovative applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) for tasks like summarization, classification, and question-answering. You'll work closely with experienced engineers, gaining invaluable hands-on experience with AI technologies, cloud computing (specifically Google Cloud), and modern software development practices. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to real-world AI projects and accelerate your career. 

Job Duties:

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications on Google Cloud.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Python. 
• Assist in building, testing, and optimizing machine learning models for various AI applications. Support the building, testing, and optimization of machine learning models.
• Participate in code reviews and learn from feedback to improve your coding skills. 
• Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and software development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. 
• Troubleshoot and debug software to ensure quality.

About You:

• Required Technical Skills/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•  Proficiency in Python or another programming language such as Java or C++.
• Solid understanding of software development best practices (Git, debugging, etc.)
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, OOP).
• A passion for learning new technologies and applying them effectively.
•  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.




• Nice-to-Have Technical Skills/Experience:
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure).
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch).
• Exposure to web development frameworks and API design.
•  Projects related to AI or data science (academic or personal).
