Job Description

The Social Media Manager is meticulous, quick-footed and obsessed by accuracy. Experience working across multiple social media and marketing platforms is critical, as you will be responsible for the overall management of Traveloka’s social media accounts and strategies, as well as supporting Content Marketing operations for global campaigns, producing content collaterals for Traveloka. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall management of Traveloka’s Instagram,, Youtube, Tiktok and other existing Social and Content channels.

  • Explore and grow Traveloka’s Social Media footprint by developing new channels, in line with the broader Brand Content Strategy.

  • End-to-end management of Traveloka’s Social accounts including content planning, storytelling and copywriting, image sourcing, video editing, community management, reporting

  • Lead relevant agencies and external consultants in developing of creative content, design, copywriting to provide any deliverables required

  • Act as the Social Media champion, providing education and guidelines to teams, as well as regular best practices to marketing teams to drive the overall engagement on Social channels.

  • Support overall content marketing operations, including content planning, curation, translations management, and deployment across identified content platforms.

  • Assist in photo and video shoot production, post-production process and update of social media and content marketing collaterals

  • Adhere to strategies and objectives, meeting deadlines as set by the Campaigns team, strategists and other stakeholders.

  • Make revisions, identify problems or inconsistencies, solve problems through constant review and optimisation of content and processes. 

  • Understanding briefs, adhering to the objectives of the project, remaining on brand and grammatically correct.

  • Work collaboratively with the other teams to execute integral marketing campaigns.

  • Collaborate, coordinate and fact check with key internal and external stakeholders to produce creative content.

  • Contribute and participate with creative and brand teams to develop multiple concepts and campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in social media and content marketing.

  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation & communication skills.

  • Proven success in the ability to drive organic growth through creative and data-informed content strategies.

  • Extensive knowledge of social media platforms, influencer marketing and digital channel optimization.

  • Skilled in interpreting and analyzing data to effectively communicate performance insights and - Provide evidence-based recommendations to all stakeholders.

  • Experience managing content in markets at varying levels of maturity, with a track record of successfully adapting strategies based on unique market demands.

  • Demonstrated experience in building, mentoring and leading a team, with a collaborative and inclusive approach.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate strategies clearly to stakeholders and team members.
