We’re on a mission to help people wind down, sleep soundly, and wake up gently—starting with our Hatch Restore. As our Social Media Creator and Strategist, Adult, you’ll bring Hatch’s adult-focused channels (@hatchforsleep) to life through compelling, short-form, video-first content that aligns with our established strategy.
In this role, you’ll be an essential creative engine, helping to translate our brand and marketing goals into social-first assets. From capturing quick-turn trends to building out evergreen moments across Reels, TikTok, and Shorts, you’ll create with agility and intention.
We’re looking for someone who’s as fluent in meme culture as they are in mindful morning routines, who can move fast without sacrificing quality, and who understands how to make wellness content feel both exciting and editorial.

Director of Social and Community
Location: U.S. or Canada (remote OK); must be available during PST/PDT hours
- Learn Hatch’s brand tone, adult-focused messaging, and key social content pillars—especially around Hatch Restore.
- Collaborate closely with our social lead and agency partners to create content that supports the existing calendar and strategy.
- Respond quickly to timely cultural and platform trends, producing on-brand content that adds value and engagement.
- Begin contributing to a library of evergreen content around wellness, sleep habits, and Hatch product storytelling.
- Increase the volume and quality of social-first content by producing high-performing Reels, TikToks, and Shorts that reflect both trends and core messaging.
- Support the roll-out of seasonal tentpoles, product campaigns, and key brand moments with compelling visual storytelling.
- Partner with the Influencer and Community teams to ideate co-created or repurposed content that expands reach.
- You’ve helped grow our adult-facing social platforms with content that balances fast-turn trends and thoughtfully planned creative.
- Your work has contributed to increased engagement, stronger brand recall, and consistent growth in followers—especially on TikTok.
- You’re known internally as a trusted creative collaborator who brings ideas to life, makes things happen fast, and helps shape the voice of Hatch Restore on social.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in an entertainment, consumer goods or lifestyle brand.
- Ability to concept, shoot and produce a consistent amount of social-first video content for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful social media strategies that drive engagement, growth, and conversions. TikTok Shop experience is a plus!
- Strong understanding of social media platforms - YouTube, TikTok, Instagram (Twitch, Discord, and Snap - a plus), algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and persuasive content.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and visual aesthetics.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
