Job Duties: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new software features. Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code. Partner closely with API teams, product management teams, and external client relationship management teams to improve the product offering and drive-up user engagement and adoption. Participate in our Agile ceremonies and help analyze and estimate effort for assigned tasks in partnership with other developers on the team. Contribute to architectural discussions, decisions, and documentation. Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality and shared knowledge. Troubleshoot production issues affecting our client workflows. Seek opportunities to expand technical knowledge and capabilities.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; and 24 months experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Requires 24 months of experience involving the following: 1. Software engineering role in a commercial capacity; 2. Working with React/Typescript/JavaScript/Java; 3. HTML and CSS; 4. Architecting and deploying sophisticated applications in a production capacity; 5. Strongly typed languages, including Typescript; 6. Working with RESTful APIs; 7. Working with Git, ADO, and Agile methodologies; and 8. Finance industry or knowledge of financial products/markets.

For San Francisco, CA Only the salary range for this position is USD$142,500.00 - USD$162,500.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
