This position is part of the Production Operations Department located in Madison, WI and will be onsite. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the USP team and report to the Manager USP responsible for growing and harvesting bacteria.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Assist in design and execution of 1 L – 1000 L scale fermentations

• Prepare microbiological culture media and other culture reagents

• Harvest E. coli cultures using centrifuges

The essential requirements of the job include:

• B.S. degree with 0-2 years prior manufacturing experience (or) A.S. degree with 2 + years prior manufacturing experience in a Life Science field.

• Good working knowledge of microbiology

• Prior manufacturing experience, preferably with microbial culturing and/or fermentation

If would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Knowledge of working in a clean room is a plus

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
