Ossid is seeking a highly motivated Associate Sales Representative to support the Ossid sales organization. This position serves as a developmental role within the Ossid sales organization and provides structured training, field exposure, and mentorship to prepare the employee for increased responsibility within the sales team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with lead generation, prospecting activities, and early-stage qualification of customer inquiries.
- Travel extensively with senior sales personnel to customer facilities, demonstrations, trade shows, and industry events.
- Develop foundational product knowledge across Ossid’s machinery portfolio, including understanding of applications and customer requirements.
- Support the preparation of quotes, proposals, technical materials, and customer follow‑up documentation.
- Maintain accurate CRM entries related to customer interactions, opportunity progression, and sales activity.
- Participate in customer meetings, plant visits, and equipment walkthroughs to gain practical understanding of customer applications.
- Support communication and coordination between sales, engineering, service, marketing, and operations.
- Assist in gathering market intelligence, competitive information, and customer feedback to support sales initiatives.
- Shadow senior sales representatives to learn effective sales techniques, customer relationship management, and territory development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice, and for extended periods.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools.
- Self‑motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn within a technical sales environment.
- Ability to build constructive relationships and work effectively in a team-based environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or prior experience in sales, customer service, or industrial/technical environments.
- Familiarity with capital equipment, manufacturing processes, or packaging/automation industries.

- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on occasion during equipment demonstrations or trade show support.
