Job Description:

DUTIES: Update and maintain Fama/French Indices and Dimensional indices in SQL on monthly basis. Execute and analyze simulations for customized strategy proposal to meet clients need and investment object using SQL and Excel. Execute regular validations to ensure inputs to research, portfolio management, and client reporting are appropriate and accurate. Coordinate with investment and client service teams to answer internal and client questions. Review academic papers to improve our understanding of asset pricing and academic landscape. This includes working with: econometrics, statistics, and probability; programming skills including: Python, R, MATLAB, FORTRAN, or SAS; and knowledge of finance and economic theories, including deep understanding of portfolio theories and empirical asset pricing models such as the CAPM and the Fama-French factor models. Hybrid work from home schedule permitted 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely within commuting distance from a Dimensional office. #LI-DNIMINIUM REQUIREMENTS:  Master’s degree in Applied Economics and Management, Financial Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or a related field and 1 year of experience or 12 credit hours to involve: (1) knowledge of econometrics, statistics, and probability; (2) programming skills including: Python, R, MATLAB, FORTRAN, or SAS; and (3) knowledge of finance and economic theories, including deep understanding of portfolio theories and empirical asset pricing models such as the CAPM and the Fama-French factor models.
