The Associate Recruiter role is a great opportunity for an emerging sourcer or coordinator to grow within Talent Acquisition. This is an entry level Recruiter position that will allow the right candidate to broaden their recruiting experience and ramp up in their career. This role will directly support the senior recruiters on the team with their sourcing needs as well as with full cycle recruiting on overflow positions.
Responsibilities:
- Source talent across Production/Art/Story departments within the animation pipeline to identify top talent for shows and the studio
- Provide full life cycle recruiting services as needed which includes: networking, pipelining, evaluating and presenting talent to hiring managers, as well as making offers
- Develop a deep understanding of animation union rules and strategy around offers and compensation
- Develop a deep understanding of the animation industry and the changing marketplace to provide solutions on how to stay competitive
- Identify and assess passive candidates and build pools of talent in advance of need
- Utilize and maintain a recruiting database for sourcing and tracking candidates
- Represent SPA at Recruiting events and support in the organization of these events, which include conventions, school visits (as needed), job fairs, panels, etc.
- Provide excellent administrative support which includes but is not limited to tracking candidate records, maintenance of department files and creating and maintaining reports
- Handle special projects as required
- Develop a thoughtful partnership with hiring managers to understand their specific hiring needs
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 2 years working in the Animation
- At least 3 years working in Recruitment
- Ability to organize and maintain time and resources
- Solid attention to detail
- Ability to work with diverse groups, both internal and external, in a supportive and manner
The anticipated base salary for this position is $30 to $33/hour. This role may also qualify for incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
