Associate Quality Assurance Engineer for Business Process & Applications

At QUALCO, we empower the financial world with innovative technology. We are looking for an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer who will join our Business Process and Application development team, and ensure that we deliver strong and reliable solutions to our clients.

A Day in the Life of an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer at Qualco will include:

• Prepare detailed test cases based on business requirements and design specifications for private and public sector projects;
• Execute comprehensive manual testing and API testing to identify discrepancies, ensure compliance with specifications and verify system reliability and performance. Acts independently. Escalates issues in a timely manner;
• Collaborate closely with development team and cross-functional team members to prioritize and address issues and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products;
• Report test results, track defects in Jira and follow up on resolution ensuring timely and effective testing closure before Release
• Conduct Test Closure activities, including archiving results, Release notes and relevant documentation in the configuration management system;
• Help others get the most out of knowledge management systems by offering support and advice. May conduct training sessions for peers or customer trainings for our deliverables;
• Support UAT process (Issues tracking, resolution and re-test);
• Contribute to our On Time/On Budget/On Quality success story;
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer science, Engineering, or related field;
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Software Quality Assurance with adaptability to various testing methodologies;
• Strong Communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address issues independently and effectively;
• Possess a firm command of both the Greek and English language (oral and written);
• Experience with black box testing techniques;
• Desire to grow in areas of expertise as needed by the evolving needs and goals of the company.
