Associate Project Coordinator: Analytics & Insights

Rockstar Games is seeking a Associate Project Coordinator to join our growing Insights department. This is an amazing opportunity to manage high impact projects on a multi-discipline team that uses bleeding edge technology and complex big data analytics to deliver actionable metrics used to better understand our players and enhance their experience with our games.

This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan. 

WHAT WE DO

• The Insights team supports various stakeholder groups across the company to develop and communicate research and analysis.
• We align project resources and timelines to facilitate cross-functional development and cultivate macro and micro understandings of our teams.
• We collaborate as a global team to support the development of cutting-edge data products, data models, reports, analyses, and machine learning applications. 
• We support all Rockstar Games titles to deliver world-class live service experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely within a team of data scientists across multiple studios to chase down and define requirements for complex team requests with feedback and guidance expected from leads and senior production team.
• Provide status updates on projects and track progress with complete understanding of requirements and expectations while maintaining project milestones.
• Maintain project schedules and milestone documentation, monitoring the progress of milestones and specific tasks against those schedules.
• Organize team tasks across various project tools and development resources, including briefs, files, and documentation to increase project efficiency.
• Support the Scrum Master by creating and planning tasks.
• Managing communications between cross functional teams including Online Services, Data Engineering and Publishing.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related technical or project management related major.
• 1+ years of direct experience defining and managing multi-team, multi-location projects related to analytics, or technical development.
• Proficiency in multiple software tools to manage projects and facilitate related communication, including and not limited to Excel, Task Tracking Programs (i.e., Monday.com), Word, Figma, and PowerPoint.

SKILLS

• Knowledge of sprint methodologies and their best practices.
• Exceptional, clear, and effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong team player who’s comfortable with collaboration and highly organized.
• Motivated self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
