The Boeing Company is currently seeking a high performing versatile software developer to join the Product Systems build team. The Product Systems build team provides comprehensive software solutions to rapidly access and visually transform complex engineering and manufacturing product data. Responsibilities include development and integration for a variety of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and in house software application supporting our engineering/manufacturing teams. Job requires working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results. This role will be based out of Bengaluru, India.
Position Responsibilities:
- Designs and develops software solutions to meet end user's requirements. Ensures that application integrates with overall system architecture, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools. Develops algorithms, data and process models, plans interfaces and writes interface control documents for use in construction of solutions of moderate complexity.
- Knowledge of software architecture and design methodologies. Ability to synthesize software architectures and designs that meet requirements, characteristics and constraints.
- Good communication skills are needed both verbally and written, to Interact with peers and customers.
- Job requires the ability to work well with others on a team as well as independently.
- Job requires working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Strong Experience with Python - Full stack development with good understanding on RESTful APIs and web services like fast API, flask etc.
- Good Knowledge about SQL databases. (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Good Knowledge about ALM tools (GitLab, PIP, Docker).
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Excellent communication skills to work in a Globally distributed team
- Good understanding of Agile development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) :
- Knowledge of DevOps, Cloud computing.
- Nice to have basic skills : C#, C++, C
- Eye for user-focused design and UI/UX.
- Problem Solving on Automation.
- Experience/Academics in Aerospace domain, is an advantage.
Typical Education & Experience:
- Typically, 4-8 years related work experience or Relevant military experience. advanced degree (eg. Bachelor, Master, etc.), preferred, but not required.
