Associate Product Manager

Overview

We're looking for an Associate Product Manager to own our Core squad. Your north star is clear: make Relo's platform as valuable as possible for the clients and internal teams who depend on it every day.

This isn't a feature factory. It's a role for someone who gets energy from deeply understanding how a product is being used, and who has the discipline and curiosity to turn that understanding into a better experience. You'll dig into support tickets, analyze Pendo data, talk to clients, and partner with internal stakeholders to surface what's working, what isn't, and what to fix next.

You'll have real ownership and autonomy, with close support from the Head of Product. This is a great role for someone early in their PM career who wants to build strong product fundamentals in a data-rich environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the Core squad roadmap — prioritizing improvements, fixes, and feature enhancements that drive client satisfaction and retention
  • Regularly review support tickets to identify recurring friction points, pattern-match across issues, and translate them into actionable product bets
  • Analyze Pendo data to understand how clients and internal teams are engaging with the platform — where they get stuck, what they skip, and what drives repeat usage
  • Meet regularly with internal stakeholders (operations, Customer Success, Sales) to understand workflow pain points and surface efficiency opportunities
  • Engage directly with clients to understand how they use the platform, what outcomes they're trying to achieve, and where the product is falling short
  • Write clear, detailed product specs and acceptance criteria for engineering
  • Define and track KPIs tied to client satisfaction, retention, and platform engagement
  • Report transparently on progress to the Head of Product and cross-functional partners

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of product management or adjacent experience (product operations, customer success, business analysis) in a SaaS environment
  • Genuinely curious about how people use software — you find support tickets and usage data interesting, not tedious
  • Strong analytical instincts: you look for patterns in data before jumping to solutions
  • Comfortable working directly with clients and internal stakeholders to uncover needs that aren't always explicitly stated
  • Organized and detail-oriented: you can manage multiple workstreams without dropping the ball
  • Clear, direct communicator in writing and in conversation
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools (Pendo, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar) is a plus
  • Experience in sports, media, or sponsorship is a plus but not required

Personal Attributes

  • “Challenger mindset”: you do not wait for a backlog to be handed to you; you are comfortable generating your own requirements and driving the ship
  • Insight-Driven: Naturally curious and analytical, you rely on data and insights rather than intuition alone to set the "North Star" for your squad
  • Clear, direct communicator (written and verbal) across technical and non-technical audiences
