The Role

DRW is a diversified trading firm with over 3 decades of experience bringing sophisticated technology and exceptional people together to operate in markets around the world. We value autonomy and the ability to quickly pivot to capture opportunities, so we operate using our own capital and trading at our own risk.

Headquartered in Chicago with offices throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia, we trade a variety of asset classes including Fixed Income, ETFs, Equities, FX, Commodities and Energy across all major global markets. We have also leveraged our expertise and technology to expand into three non-traditional strategies: real estate, venture capital and cryptoassets.

We operate with respect, curiosity and open minds. The people who thrive here share our belief that it’s not just what we do that matters–it's how we do it. DRW is a place of high expectations, integrity, innovation and a willingness to challenge consensus.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Associate Product Manager to support the development and growth of our Denex Gas Station product on the Canton Network. This individual will play a critical role in driving execution across the product lifecycle—from requirement gathering and sprint management to QA and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of agile methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a desire to contribute to a fast-paced product team operating at the intersection of finance and blockchain innovation.

Location: Houston.  Open to remote for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Development & Execution
    • Assist in the development and enhancement of internal and external-facing web portals.
    • Support the collection, documentation, and refinement of product requirements with key stakeholders.
    • Participate in QA testing to ensure a high-quality user experience and smooth product releases.
    • Collaborate with engineers and designers to shape and ship impactful features.
  • Agile Project Management
    • Facilitate scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
    • Track sprint progress and ensure timely delivery of tasks and milestones.
    • Help manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business goals and customer feedback
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Maintain comprehensive product documentation, specifications, and user guides.
    • Assist in creating release notes and training materials for internal and external users.
    • Ensure clear documentation of feature requests, enhancements, and bug reports.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Act as a liaison between engineering, design, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
    • Communicate product priorities and development progress across teams.
    • Partner with senior product managers to support product strategy and goal-setting
  • Customer Engagement & Support
    • Assist in training and onboarding for the external-facing Gas Station portal.
    • Provide initial product support, resolving user inquiries efficiently.
    • Gather and synthesize user feedback to inform future product improvements.

AI Competencies:

We’re looking for someone who embraces modern tools and knows how to integrate AI into their workflow to drive efficiency, clarity, and speed. Ideal candidates will bring:

  • Hands-on experience with AI tools for product management tasks such as documentation, meeting summaries, sprint planning, or backlog prioritization.
  • Familiarity with tools like ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Notion AI, or equivalent productivity/automation platforms.
  • Ability to identify and implement AI-powered process optimizations, including automating repetitive tasks or enhancing collaboration.
  • Interest in staying up to date on emerging AI capabilities and how they can be applied across product, project, or operational workflows.

Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of experience in product management, project coordination, or a related role.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Productboard.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and cross-functional alignment.
  • A collaborative, self-starter mindset with a strong desire to grow in a dynamic product environment.

The annual base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $175,000, depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set.
