Associate, Private Placements
The Associate, Private Placements job supports financial advisory, debt underwriting, and the origination and execution of debt private placements. This job provides analytical, financial modeling, structuring, research, and transaction support to senior investment professionals. Under moderate supervision, this job works with investment banking and corporate banking teams and discusses the private placement market with clients.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Conducts private placement market research and identifies anomalies and trends.
Conducts fundamental research and analysis on specific sectors and credits
Cross-collaborates well across teams and functions
Prepares valuations and modeling, underwrites opportunities across various sectors, writes memorandums and presents to committee, and participates in due diligence
Provides reporting and analytics; tracks portfolio performance.
Supports a wide range of sectors
Builds relationships with management teams of portfolio companies and stays abreast of investment trends.

Anticipated Posting End Date:
2025-07-01Base Pay Range: $105,000/yr - $145,000/yrActual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
