Job information
This is an Associate role on LGT Capital Partners' dedicated Secondaries Team.
The team is predominately investing out of a $7.4 billion investment fund called Crown Global Secondaries VI, mandate pockets, and comingled Fund-of-Funds products as well.
The secondary strategy of LGT CP focuses on multi- GP-led transactions and LP-led portfolios across Buyout, Growth, and VC
**The role is career-track and not a two-year program.
Key Responsibilities
Investment process management: intake, screening, and logging of incoming opportunities
Initial investment due diligence and information collection
Underwriting covers multi-asset GP-led and traditional secondary LP fund pricing, including understanding and analyzing company valuation inputs
Exposure to both GP-led and LP-led transactions, as well as access to private equity managers on an ongoing basis
Heavy emphasis on information management, data interpretation, and pattern recognition
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile/Qualifications
Prior experience in investment banking, consulting, or private investing preferred
Strong interest in private equity investing and secondaries
Highly analytical with comfort managing large, complex datasets
Team-oriented with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Comfortable taking ownership in a lean and collaborative environment
Salary Range
The Company anticipates that the annual base salary for this San Francisco‑based position could range from $135,000.00 to $175,000.00. The actual annual base salary paid for this position will depend on factors such as the skill, experience, and qualifications of the chosen candidate for the position.
