Position Overview

As an Associate Partner – Fintech, you will take on a pivotal leadership role at Stryber, combining entrepreneurial expertise with strategic insight to build and scale ventures in the fintech space. You will manage client engagements, oversee venture building processes, and drive the growth of Stryber’s presence in the GCC region. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact, working with a world-class team and clients across the fintech ecosystem.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership

• Act as the primary lead on the ground for client engagements, often involving the simultaneous development of multiple ventures.
• Collaborate with senior client stakeholders, including CxOs, to align on strategy and execution.

Venture Building

• Guide Venture Architects through the venture building process, from ideation to scale-up.
• Coordinate with our world-class venture operations team to ensure successful delivery.
• Provide strategic input to design, launch, and grow impactful fintech ventures.

Team Management

• Lead hiring and training efforts, both internally at Stryber and within ventures.
• Mentor and coach team members to foster professional growth and development.

Operational Excellence

• Operate autonomously, making decisions that drive venture success.
• Ensure high-quality execution of projects, adhering to timelines and budgets.
• Identify and pursue business opportunities, expanding Stryber’s footprint in the GCC region.

About You

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual with a strong background in fintech and venture building.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
• Background that includes two or three of the following:
• Experience in early-stage startups.
• Extensive experience at a leading strategy consulting firm.
• Experience working at a VC fund.
• Strong familiarity with UAE and KSA and its unique market dynamics.
• Fluent in both English and Arabic.
• Solid understanding of corporate and startup environments.
• Proven analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Based in UAE (with weekly travel to KSA)
