Job Description
As an Associate National Account Manager, you will collaborate with the National Account Manager (NAM) and Sales Director to develop and execute strategic business initiatives for major retail partners, including Target and Best Buy. You will support account management activities, drive sales growth, analyze key performance data, and work cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver top- and bottom-line sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financials & Business Strategy:

Develop and execute business plans with National Account Manager (NAM) or Sales Director to meet or exceed sales and profit goals established by leadership.

Increase net sales by reducing returns, allowances, and achieving operational efficiency.

Provide insights for strategic planning to address business gaps and drive growth in partnership with NAM and Sales Directors.

Track and manage all aspects of account performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
Analytics & Reporting:
-
Analyze weekly customer reports to identify key business trends, opportunities, and performance gaps; report insights internally and externally to buyers as needed.

Perform promotional analysis, offering data-driven recommendations to optimize promotional activities.

Review monthly and annual Circana Share Data reporting for the US; leverage Circana Share Data to drive timely decision-making.

Create a regular cadence of store visits (2 - 4 times per year); report findings with market maps and photos to NAM and Sales Directors.
Customer Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Assist NAM with all account-related inquiries, issues, and internal goals to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies.

Coordinate with Product Management, Channel Marketing, Sales Operations, Sustainability, Compliance, Warehouse, and Planning teams to ensure timely and accurate customer item setup, maintaining a calendar of due dates for each account and assets needed.

Work with NAM and Product Managers on assets and information needed for Sales Line Review Presentations.

Learn and remain proficient in Belkin’s product lines

Manage online product pages and portfolio, ensuring accuracy in pricing, content, and search optimization.

Provide customers (internal and external) with timely and accurate information on products, pricing, quotes, and order status.

Oversee compliance fine management, air freight monitoring, order status, and post-audit assistance.

Lead the management of sample orders, promotional entries, and Programs & Allowances in Salesforce.
Project & Order Management:

Track the execution of new item launches and exit strategies, ensuring flawless adherence to significant dates, inventory on-hand (IOQ), and product management roadmaps.

Work closely with Finance on FIMO (Financial Model) approvals and maintain an organized system for tracking FIMOs approved by account.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Building:

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including product managers, marketing teams, merchants, and customers, to drive sales growth.

Support customer product training and in-store sales events to improve engagement and product knowledge.

Occasional travel to customer sites, trade shows, or El Segundo headquarters as required (2-4 times/year).
Leadership & Problem Solving:

Take initiative in identifying areas for process improvement, driving operational excellence, and solving complex issues that arise with customers and cross-functional teams.

Adapt to competing demands and new responsibilities, showing flexibility and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
-
4-year college degree or equivalent experience is required.
-
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in sales analytics, or a related field.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis), Word, and PowerPoint.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing customer demands with a sense of urgency.

Professional, confident and positive attitude

Must be able to quickly build trust/rapport with key customers and can overcome obstacles
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with Target and/or Best Buy-specific portals and familiarity with Circana reporting systems.

Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus.

Previous experience working in retail, consumer electronics, or a similar industry.

Location:
Remote, Minnesota
Range for this position:
$55,000 - $70,000
Factors such as geographic location, academic credentials, relevant experience, and specific knowledge, skills and abilities will influence the actual salary offered. In addition to a competitive market-based salary, compensation also includes a performance-based bonus, and in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
