The Role

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop complex and customized HTML email code that adheres to industry best practices and brand guidelines, and closely matches the original creative design.
  • Additional code-related responsibilities include:
    • Apply dynamic content rules and configure link tracking
    • Quality assurance of dynamic email
    • Content change management
    • Link tracking and email deployment using proprietary email platform
    • Upload HTML/Text content to email platform
  • Work with email account production managers to coordinate campaign assets
  • Provide error-free final list deployments
  • Meet deadlines for content publication
  • Demonstrate flexibility by adapting to the evolving needs and priorities of our clients
  • Maintain basic knowledge of data as it relates to HTML code, to aid in troubleshooting critical list errors
  • Keep up with industry standards, innovations, and new best practices in email marketing
  • Maintain basic knowledge of list processing and can troubleshoot any potential list errors.
  • Maintain error free, On-time HTML code while adhering to the standard process and pest practices of the team
  • Error free; On-time; Adherence to standard processes and best practice, yet flexible and adaptive; Responsive to team and client needs; Production of work in a timely fashion; Completion of work with attention to details; Utilization of auditing processes and techniques.

Qualifications

  • Attention to detail
    • Prioritize quality and accuracy in everything you do
    • Adhere to standard operating procedures and client checklists
    • Utilize self-auditing processes and techniques
    • Perform thorough Quality Control self and peer checks of work
    • Display organizational, time management, and work prioritization skills
  • Technical knowledge and skills
    • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
    • Experience in responsive design is required
    • Basic knowledge of email platform limitations and code fixes/hacks to resolve (e.g., SFMC, Adobe Campaign, Oracle Responsys)
    • Technical understanding of platform-specific scripting languages and/or JavaScript is a plus
  • Self-sufficiency
    • Ability to deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision
    • Ability to prioritize work according to a variety of factors and variables
  • Communication skills
    • Ability to conceptualize and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Ability to professionally connect with internal and external teams to increase trust and value for our clients
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
