HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • You will manage part of the portfolio and impactful day-to-day marketing activities, including local insights collection and synthesis of performance or brand/products
  • You'll leverage data to derive insights and provide recommendations to strengthen brand recognition and POS
  • Develop your brands by activating key marketing programs in the US market
  • Drive marketing execution by working with a cross-functional team inclusive of Sales, Global Brand Marketing, Commercial, etc.
  • Work with external licensor partners to collaborate on meaningful US marketing programs
  • Develop an expert understanding of your brand portfolio as well as their corresponding categories to help drive decisions that lead to business growth

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • You will work with the marketing manager in strategic development and tactical execution of all local marketing plans for all ZURU toys portfolio under his/her responsibility (in line with established brand positioning).
  • With directive and support from the Marketing Manager, you will build a marketing strategy in alignment with market vision and goals. Strong coordination with sales managers to define investments and priorities for your brands.
  • You will support in the management of local agencies/partners where needed - media, translation, VOD partners, etc.
  • You will participate in assessing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns under his/her responsibility: organize postmortem and present key takeaways. Deep understanding of local consumer behaviors and demographics.
  • Create presentations that summarize key information on brand and marketing activities in creative and visual ways that effectively deliver valuable information and influence intended stakeholders.
  • Develop creative briefs for global brand teams and media agencies to work on digital, print, TVC, web and other campaigns.
  • Work with Global Brand teams with regards to digital, social and influencer marketing.
  • Establish, design and follow current and new processes to connect global teams with local needs in order to execute with excellence to drive POS and gain market share.
  • Work with licensors to provide regular updates on marketing plans and identify potential partnerships.
  • Support marketing manager in ensuring budget adherence and invoice processing for brand marketing, and trade marketing.
  • Provide event management support when needed, primarily gathering pertinent information and development of brand signage & collateral.
  • Collaborate with Brand/Commercial team partners to keep up to date on product launches, retail exclusives, etc. and adjust marketing plans accordingly, for specified brand portfolio.
  • Weekly review and report trends, sales data and consumer behaviors.
  • Manage the relationships with global marketing teams to develop local campaign assets and ensure territory initiatives are on brand.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in consumer or brand marketing in a consumer product-led industry
  • Understanding of standard marketing techniques including social media, digital and influencer marketing
  • Knowledge of retail landscape in assigned region(s)
  • Ability to take conclusions to problem solve and create a plan to reach the goals
  • Be able to present actionable insights to cross functional teams
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, excellent attention to details, as well as Project Management skills
  • Solid proficiency in MS Office, Excel, G Suite. Figma experience will be a plus
  • Highly organized and efficient. Ability to thrive in a high-pressure and time-sensitive environment
  • Be able to easily adapt to shifts in priorities.
  • Experience with digital marketing tactics, planning & reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively across different teams, departments, and third parties. (MC: I would add willingness to work in different time zones and to travel)
  • Relevant experience in toys is a plus, but passion and genuine interest in the field are equally valued
