About the department
Validation CoE is the unit responsible for validation and qualification of various systems, applications and infrastructure in different business areas. These systems are used on a local, regional, and global scale by many areas of the business, including Sales and Marketing, Production sites etc. and are critical to the execution of key business process such as development, manufacturing, sales, finance, etc. This unit is responsible for validation these systems/ Qualification of underlying infrastructure and maintaining the systems in the validated state throughout in its operation.
The Position
As an Associate Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lead the team as a role model in all aspects of People Management and manage unit reporting employees. Drive continuous improvements and enable maturity of process and define and drive unit goals.
  • Drive Efficiency, drive capacity planning, team performance management, productivity and innovation. Drive continuous improvements and enable maturity of process and define and drive unit goals.
  • Resource planning, incl. participates in recruitment of internal and external employees and consultants. Supervision, coaching and mentoring of employees and acting as day-to-day manager of employees incl. feed-back and talk2Grow. Work with reporting manager for the overall motivation of employees.
  • Build competency of Automation tools within Digital Data (DD) & IT to support the growing needs of organization. Spearhead Community of practice.
  • Follow up on vendor deliverables and service targets/matrices and manage vendor contracts/service orders.
  • As a CoE, Ensure continuous improvement of processes through process reviews and reusability of assets.


Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelors or Masters in relevant field with minimum 10+ years in the IT or equivalent industry.
  • Minimum 2+ years of people management experience within pharmaceutical or other relevant industry, including hiring, appraising and development responsibility of people.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in managing Validation deliverables in service level-based setup.
  • Proven management skills in quality as well as validation activities and Global Stakeholder Management in Pharmaceutical field and expertise in SDLC and STLC.
  • Knowledge of and experience with regulatory requirements (e.g. GMP, 21 CFR Part 11), GxP, self-driven to ensure that the IT systems will pass inspections from the authorities without problems.
  • Should be able to effectively manage employee utilization and maximum efficiency with right balance on employee engagement, coach and develop employees.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, communication and collaboration skills and ability to represent NN in relation with users and external stakeholders.
