Summary:
Support the management of partnership development and activation strategies for CPG companies across all marketing channels and throughout the entirety of the Giant Eagle ecosystem and brands. Work alongside Account Executives of Partnership Marketing as well as cross-functionally across Leap to create alignment on organizational strategies and customized activations in support of key partner needs. Partnership strategies focus on O&O digital channels, off-platform media, traditional store assets (digital and print) and more. This role will be responsible in maximizing CPG partnership growth, while leveraging evolving capabilities and optimizing for business margin. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with media agencies, brands (CPGs) (advertising and digital media teams), marketing operations team, merchandising and other key stakeholders. Additionally, this role will also need to build and maintain relationships with our Giant Eagle partners and counterparts.
Job Description:
- Learn and begin to lead the development and activation of Omni-Channel and Customized marketing plans for CPGs and Giant Eagle across Giant Eagles’ content and in-store ecosystems
- Build comprehensive partner recap documents for each campaign in collaboration with analytics, marketing, merchandising and other key LOBs
- Assist in helping manage relationships with key partners, while building effective communication strategies, and synergy across internal teams, the partner, external entities/agencies and Giant Eagle.
- In collaboration with marketing operations, marketing and eCommerce merchandising, define, develop and execute key campaigns
- Support key internal stakeholders in setting annual marketing and partnership campaigns
- Work cross collaboratively to help explore and develop additional revenue streams across all channels
- Guide advertising, digital marketing teams and partners to create compelling programs for .com, mobile app, email, social media, loyalty, off-platform, OOH/DOOH etc.
- Assist in managing development and day-to-day workflow with domestic and international team
- Maintain strong awareness of online and offline competitive landscapes. Act as the catalyst creating an environment that encourages innovation, extraordinary presentation and best in class performance
- Actively collaborate with all members of the cross-functional team to ensure that innovative ideas are surfaced and acted upon, and that the team feels ownership in the business. Must have a collaborative mentality that focuses on the betterment of the team and the organization
Qualifications:
- Experience Required: 3 to 5 years
- Experience Desired: Partnership sales/activation, eCommerce, convenience store or large format shopper marketing within CPG/retailer or other comparable experience
- Education Desired: Bachelors Degree
