Essential Job Functions:
• Assist in the management and operation of Network Firewall services, providing support to the team.
• Contribute to the implementation of Network Firewall strategies and projects.
• Help maintain the performance and availability of Network Firewall infrastructure systems while troubleshooting issues.
• Collaborate with other teams to understand their Network Firewall requirements and support design and/or implementation.
• Participate in the implementation of best practices and process improvements within the Network Firewall services.
• Assist in the development of Network Firewall documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports.
• Contribute to the optimization of resource allocation for Network Firewall tasks and projects.
• Effective communication to provide support and collaborate with team members.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 10+ years of relevant Network Firewall work experience in industry, with a minimum of 5+ years in a similar role
• Proven experience in Network Firewall technology management
• Proficiencies in technical knowledge and teamwork
• A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
Other Qualifications:
• An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
• Checkpoint firewall configuration, management, and troubleshooting experience is a must

• Fortigate firewall experience is a plus
• Palo Alto experience is a plus
• Checkpoint API Configuration is a plus
• Scripting in Python is a plus

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $73,100 - $135,700.
