Job Description

Role

Associate Manager - Investor Services deals with day to day complex client issues and demands of the Investor Services function, related to each type of AIF fund structure serviced by IQ-EQ. The Associate Manager - Investor Services reviews the work of Investor Services Officer in order to ensure the smooth flow in the operations and meeting client's expectations and coaching of junior staff.

What you'll do

  • You'll coach and support Investor Services Officers, review their work, contribute to performance appraisals, and provide guidance on processes, standards, and systems.
  • You'll ensure all client deliverables and reporting comply with IQ-EQ policies, local regulatory requirements, FATCA/CRS obligations, and internal and Group deadlines.
  • You'll communicate with clients and investors on a daily basis, proactively resolve issues, and identify potential concerns before they escalate into complaints.
  • You'll oversee investor services activities, including customer due diligence, subscriptions, redemptions, share transfers, capital calls, trade orders, settlements, and investor reporting (OE & CE), ensuring accuracy throughout.
  • You'll work closely with internal teams on complex matters, ensure required compliance approvals are obtained, support continuous process improvement, and safeguard information assets in accordance with IQ-EQ Mauritius' ISMS framework.

Qualifications

About You

  • You hold a degree or are fully qualified ACCA or ICSA.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant field.
  • You possess advanced knowledge of the laws and regulations issued by the Financial Services Commission relating to OE and CE.
  • You are proficient in the MS Office suite, with advanced skills in Word and Excel, and have a working knowledge of Microgen.
  • You have a basic understanding of accounting and are fluent in English.

Skills Required

  • Degree or fully qualified ACCA or ICSA
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant field
