General Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and performance-driven Associate Manager of Growth Marketing to support paid media efforts across the Steve Madden LLC portfolio with a focus on our Dolce Vita and Steve Madden businesses throughout the Americas, inclusive of the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. In this role, you will contribute to the execution and optimization of paid programs across Paid Social, Paid Search, Affiliate and Display in partnership with our media agencies. You will serve as the point of contact for delivering creative assets, specs, and briefs to internal and external partners, ensuring timely handoff and resolving asset gaps or discrepancies
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to gain hands-on experience in performance marketing, working across multiple channels and markets while learning how to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth in a fast-paced retail environment.
The responsibilities described below are considered essential functions of the role. This position is based in both our Long Island City and Manhattan offices and requires working on-site four days per week.
Major Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day execution and optimization of paid media campaigns across Paid Social, Paid Search, Affiliate, and Display
- Analyze campaign performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve KPIs such as CAC, ROAS, and revenue
- Own creative process from start to finish in partnership with internal teams and agency partners
- Develop and manage creative briefs across Paid Social, Paid Search, Display, and Affiliate in partnership with creative, copy, and brand teams, ensuring briefs reflect campaign objectives, audience/funnel stage, and channel specs
- Review creative assets prior to trafficking for brand consistency, platform compliance (aspect ratio, duration, copy length, safe zones), and messaging accuracy
- Coordinate creative testing programs across channels — structuring test matrices, tracking variant performance, and compiling learnings into actionable recommendations for creative and media teams
- Collaborate with external agencies to ensure campaigns are launched accurately, monitored effectively, and optimized against performance goals
- Help manage affiliate programs, including partner communication, offer tracking, and performance monitoring
- Support creative testing initiatives by coordinating assets, tracking results, and identifying top-performing content (UGC, creator, branded)
- Contribute to reporting by pulling data, maintaining dashboards, and assisting in weekly/monthly performance recaps
- Stay up to date on platform trends (Meta, TikTok, Google, affiliate networks) and share learnings with the team
- Assist in identifying opportunities for incremental growth and testing new channels or tactics
Skills, Education, Licenses, Certificates, Registrations and/or Experience:
- 3-4 years of experience in paid media, digital marketing, or growth marketing (internships included)
- Familiarity with paid social, paid search, or affiliate marketing (hands-on experience a plus)
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data in Excel/Google Sheets
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Interest in retail, fashion, or consumer brands preferred
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $80,000 - $90,000. Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
