About the department
Global Finance GBS Bangalore was established in 2007, is currently responsible for supporting Accounting, Finance & Procurement, Financial Planning & Analytics (FP&A) for Headquarters, region Europe, North America, International Operations (IO) & GBS Bangalore. The main purpose of our existence is to provide superior service to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardization and efficiency.
The Position
This role will be responsible for delivering on the Business Process Management strategy and vision as part of the Digital & Process Excellence (DPX) function of Finance GBS. The ideal candidate would need to oversee all aspects related to business process improvement initiatives including Proof of Value, implementation, and institutionalization of BPM tools and will also be involved in designing, modelling, implementing, monitoring, and optimizing processes across various functions and levels along with below mentioned responsibilities:

  • Oversee the governance, standards, and policies for BPM, and ensures the alignment and collaboration of different stakeholders.
  • Define, along with the DPX management team, the principles, methods, and best practices for BPM, and ensure the consistency and quality of BPM solutions.
  • Perform ongoing analyses on business processes related to productivity, quality, costs, and time management and present progress reports and integrate feedback.
  • Works closely with senior management to execute on the strategy, prioritize projects, and remove impediments in implementation.
  • As a people Manager, needs to provide direction, support to team and review progress of initiatives along with mentoring and coaching members across teams of the DPX function.


Qualifications

  • Relevant academic background at minimum master's level within Business or Finance.
  • Minimum 8-12 years of overall work experience of which at least 8-10 years in BPM, Transformation, Continuous Improvement, process mapping and process mining.
  • Well-versed with BPM tools like Signavio, Aris.
  • Experience in Project Management, Agile / Scrum methodologies and certification in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, Kaizen.
  • Knowledge of the Financial Accounting processes.
  • Experience working with global stakeholders is preferred along with strong people and performance management skills.
  • Can operate on strategic, tactic and operational level, preferably strong skills on service culture and delivery, process standardization and optimization.
