As an Investment Specialist within the Wealth Management Investment Solutions team, you educate Advisors on product attributes and portfolio positioning.
You curate and deliver content, answer advisor and client queries, and provide market updates across asset classes.
You coordinate with Specialists, Portfolio Managers, and partner teams to ensure consistent, high-quality information for clients and prospects.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with Client Advisors in educating them various attributes (e.g. asset allocation, performance, holdings etc.) of our products & portfolios. Additionally this team curates content for Advisors (e.g. prospecting, portfolio positioning, commentaries, portfolio analytics on underlying products) and answers related advisor / client queries
- Allign to the respective asset classes like Fixed Income, Equities, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Private Placements, Endowments & Foundations, etc. within Wealth management and are expected to know the asset class/client set they are supporting
- Provide Periodic updates consisting of market information, ratings changes, news, asset allocation studies etc. pertaining to our portfolios and funds
- Co-ordinate with Specialists and Portfolio managers to provide regular insights on the funds/strategies via manager calls or prospective events
- Author Request for Proposals (RFPs) covering and highlighting the breadth of our investment and solutions platforms. Co-ordinate Request for Information (RFIs) for Institutional and Wholesale clients / prospects
- Co-ordinate with Specialists, PMs, and other partner / service teams to deliver high quality, consistent and cohesive quantitative and qualitative information to existing clients invested in retail and institutional products
Support stakeholder and project management initiatives to deliver information management and business intelligence strategies across sales, marketing, and technology groups
Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Hold an MBA (Finance) with relevant industry experience and knowledge of sales processes, global markets, and asset classes including Equities, Fixed Income, Alternatives, MAS, and ETFs.
- Complete CFA or CAIA Level I, or be an aspiring CFA/CAIA, with relevant industry experience and strong understanding of asset classes and alternatives.
- Demonstrate 5+ years of experience in BFSI, Asset/Wealth Management, Capital Markets, and asset classes such as Equity and Fixed Income.
- Apply strong quantitative and analytical skills, including proficiency in data analysis, understanding data flows, and numbers.
- Communicate effectively with excellent soft skills, stakeholder management, client-focused approach, and strong presentation abilities.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), external tools like Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar, and project management software such as MS Project.
- Exhibit attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, good judgment with confidential information, strong team player qualities, entrepreneurial initiative, and confidence to complete assignments independently.
