An informed and impartial perspective to help our clients reach their goals through the design and execution of strategic M&A and financing solutions.
We provide impartial, expert advice to large and mid-sized corporations, private equity, families and entrepreneurs, and governments. We design and execute strategic M&A and financing solutions for our clients and act as a trusted partner, taking a long-term and independent view on the challenges, they face.
Our deep understanding of financial markets, the high volume of transactions we advise on, and our unrivalled network of industry and financing specialists in 40 countries, provide clients with a comprehensive perspective to achieve their strategic goals.

Responsibilities
- Work on several transactions and with multiple project teams simultaneously on all critical aspects of transactions, ranging from client development and initial opportunity evaluation to transaction strategy and execution
- Lead in the preparation of financial and economic analyses and models required for the evaluation and completion of such transactions, as well as client presentations, information memoranda and transaction documents
- Seek to identify new business opportunities for Rothschild & Co Global Advisory and new ideas for our clients that advance their strategic objectives
- Modelling and/or supervising financial valuations, e.g. DCF, LBO, multiples
- Preparation and coordination of due diligence process
- Transaction structuring
- Co-ordinating 3rd party advisors
- Supporting coverage effort and attending marketing meetings
- Building sector expertise and market knowledge
Education and Qualifications
- Strong academic background in a relevant field, e.g., Business Administration or Finance
Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
- Three to five years of work experience in an advisory, investment banking or private equity role with a demonstrable track record of success in transaction execution
- Proven quantitative and analytical skills to develop financial models and valuations with a deep understanding of financial statement analysis
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to navigate in an international firm
- Proficient technical skills, especially advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Fluent German and English, both oral and written
- Highly motivated and results-orientated, committed to quality
- Professional appearance and hardworking
- Ability to provide direction and leadership in order to build a strong team environment and to build effective relationships with individuals and teams across different geographies, sectors and products
- Thrives in an international environment
- Performs under time constraints
- Ability to build long-term, professional relationships that add value for the client and support the expansion of the business
- Experience in leading client presentations, managing projects and the execution of transactions
