Associate KYC Specialist
CSC, Luxembourg
Full time, 40h/week
Hybrid (3 days on site)
As a Junior AML/KYC Analyst within the Fund Business Solutions team at CSC Luxembourg, you will support the onboarding and ongoing monitoring of investors across a wide range of private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and alternative investment funds.
Key Responsibilities
Investor Onboarding & Due Diligence

• Collect, review, and validate KYC documentation for new investors in accordance with Luxembourg AML/CTF regulations.
• Perform AML risk assessments, including identification verification, beneficial ownership analysis, and source of funds/source of wealth checks.
• Conduct screenings using internal and external tools (sanctions, PEP, adverse media).
• Assist in documenting the onboarding process and ensuring all required information is complete and compliant.

Periodic Reviews & Monitoring

• Support periodic KYC file reviews for existing investors in line with regulatory cycles (CSSF 12/02 and CSSF AML framework).
• Monitor and follow up on missing documentation with clients, investors, and service providers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date investor records in internal systems.

Regulatory Compliance

• Contribute to adherence with internal AML policies and procedures.
• Assist with the preparation of internal compliance reports and escalation files.
• Monitor regulatory updates and ensure proper application within daily tasks.

Internal Collaboration

• Work closely with the Senior AML Analysts, Compliance Officers, and colleagues from Fund Accounting, CoSec, AIFM, and Transfer Agency.
• Support cross-functional workflows to ensure smooth and compliant investor onboarding.
• Participate in internal improvement initiatives and process optimization.

3. Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of AML/CTF regulations, ideally in a Luxembourg fund environment.
• Familiarity with KYC requirements for individuals and legal entities (corporates, trusts, partnerships, funds).
• Knowledge of beneficial ownership concepts and investment fund structures is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.

Languages

• Fluency in English (written and spoken) required.
• Knowledge of French, German, or any additional language is an asset.

4. Education & Experience

• University degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
• First experience (internship or 1-2 years) in AML/KYC, compliance, fund administration, or financial services is considered an advantage but not mandatory.
• Newly graduated candidates with strong motivation and interest in AML/KYC will also be considered.
