About the Role

Cover Genius is seeking an Associate Insurance Product Manager to join our Insurance Product team in Asia, owning the end-to-end delivery of standard, repeatable travel insurance product launches (CTI) semi-independently with local underwriters as well as supporting our partnerships team on complex RFP responses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run standard travel product launches end-to-end - sourcing, product construct, pricing setup, testing, go-live - semi-independently with local underwriters, escalating complex or strategic items to senior IPMs

  • Responsible for owning all incoming RFP responses as the Insurance product owner 

  • Own day-to-day relationship management with assigned local insurers/underwriters (reporting, queries, renewals, routine issues)

  • Manage ongoing portfolio for existing standard products: pricing reviews, product optimisation, policy wording updates, regulatory and compliance tracking

  • Absorb backlog and BAU volume from senior IPMs (e.g., existing-partner optimisations, standard-market rollouts)

  • Coordinate with Partnerships, Compliance, and Product Ops to keep launches on schedule

  • Provide regular reporting on launch pipeline and portfolio performance, including commentary at meetings as needed

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

What you will bring

  • 3+ years' experience in general insurance product, pricing, or underwriting-facing roles - travel or embedded/digital insurance distribution experience strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated experience running product launches or implementations with underwriters/insurers, ideally with some autonomy

  • Working knowledge of product construction, pricing mechanics, and policy wording

  • Experience coordinating cross-functionally to deliver against deadlines

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a postgraduate degree is a plus but not required

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with datasets, identify trends, and summarise insights clearly.

  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (e.g., pivots, lookups, filtering, basic formulas).

  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver outputs within agreed timelines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Reporting, etc.).

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

  • Nice to have: exposure to SEA insurance regulatory landscape
