As a Senior Associate in Asset Servicing within the Prime Brokerage team, your role involves managing key relationships with our top Prime Brokerage clients and supporting the global corporate actions teams. Your responsibilities include resolving client queries, handling exceptions, and coordinating client decisions on voluntary corporate actions. The Middle Office Asset Servicing team is focused on improving the client experience and streamlining operational processes.
As a result, in this role you will directly focus specifically on Middle Office Asset Servicing (Corporate Actions).
Job Responsibilities

  • Provide effective inquiry resolution and and proactively address any client concerns. Managing client relationships
  • Provide timely and accurate resolution of all client asset servicing inquiries (Dividends, P&I, Mandatory, Voluntary, Proxy, Tax)
  • Ensure clients have everything in order (E.g. paperwork etc) to facilitate a successful voluntary corporate action election.
  • Provide a best-in-class client service experience.
  • Comply with the firm and departmental procedures and controls.
  • Adhere to the control environment and ensuring daily checks are completed.
  • Be a motivated and fully engaged and team player
  • Escalate appropriately to senior managers
  • Assist with team and departmental processes and projects


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Asset Servicing (Corporate Action) product & process knowledge (3+ years).
  • Fixed Income and Equity
  • Corporate Action and Stock, Borrow Loan exposure.
  • Demonstrate the capability to effectively engage with highly demanding stakeholders and manage their expectations
  • Excellent problem solving skills to identify, understand and address operational and technical issues
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop relationships across the various stakeholders including senior business executives
  • Motivated and able to deliver with minimal supervision, whilst working effectively in a team
  • Financial markets product knowledge and understanding of the transaction lifecycle
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Middle Office exposure
  • Repo Exposure
  • Swap Exposure
  • Americas Market Knowledge
  • Experience, preferably within Prime Brokerage
  • Job knowledge, preferably Repo experience.
