The successful candidate will report directly to the Global Healthcare Compliance Officer and become an integral member of the global Healthcare Compliance team. This role offers the opportunity to apply foundational compliance knowledge, enhance Ipsos’ healthcare compliance framework, and effectively leverage new technologies to improve efficiency. The position will support operations across the Americas, Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
Responsibilities
- Lead the internal quality assurance assessment programme (including internal audits and spot-checks), conducting data analysis, presenting findings, and developing comprehensive CAPA plans through to resolution
- Establish and manage a risk-based vendor audit programme, ensuring third-party compliance with our quality standards
- Support contract review processes and lead the compilation and analysis of compliance-specific contractual requirements across all regions
- Take ownership of non-compliance case management, including incident logging, investigation support, and oversight of the CAPA process until full resolution
- Leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance compliance processes, improve efficiency, and drive innovation in quality assurance practices
- Maintain and analyze compliance metrics using advanced Excel functions and data visualization tools
- Support external audits, assessments, and client due diligence activities globally
- Contribute to the development and delivery of global compliance training programs
- Collaborate with regional compliance champions to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures
- Experience in quality assurance, internal auditing, or compliance management, preferably in pharmaceutical or wider health sector industry.
- Background working within or closely with PV departments, understanding adverse event management and safety reporting requirements.
- Understanding of health sector market research and relevant regulatory frameworks (privacy, pharmacovigilance guidelines, industry guidelines, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools for compliance metrics and reporting
- Demonstrated interest or experience in integrating AI and digital technologies into business processes
- Excellent project management skills with ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to develop pragmatic compliance solutions
- Outstanding communication skills with ability to present complex compliance matters clearly to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with CAPA management and root cause analysis methodologies
- Knowledge of industry standards (ISO 20252, ISO 9001, ISO 27001) and healthcare research codes (ESOMAR, EPHMRA, BHBIA) is highly desirable
