If you are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in Wealth Management (Global Derivatives Solutions), you have found the right team. We're looking for exceptionally talented individuals who are collaborative and motivated with a background in Currencies, Commodity, Equity or Fixed Income derivative products across OTC or Structured Notes.
As an Associate in the Global Derivative Solutions team, you promote innovative solutions for Private Bank clients. You collaborate with global teams to provide comprehensive coverage on a day-to-day basis.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop market expertise in Equities, FX, Commodities and Fixed Income derivative solutions in the full product range, including structured products.
- Work with Global ACL's strategists to develop and present on investment ideas.
- Provide education and assist creation of marketing materials (including pitch books) for sales force and clients, including mailbox management.
- Follow economics, international finance, foreign exchange/rates research and international news events.
- Manage various risk controls impacting the desk (XVA, Credit risk etc.) and follow risk & compliance policies and procedures.
- Prepare, monitor and communicate business metrics to management on a periodic basis.
- Partnering well across internal stakeholders (Asset Class Leaders (ACL's), Structuring, Business Management, Product Development, Middle Office, Investment Bank partners etc. as needed.).
- Help identify business strategy to support growth and platform enhancements.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 5+ years of work experience in wealth management, financial services, or a related field.
- MBA/CFA (charter holder or pursuing).
- Knowledge and experience in the Derivatives (any asset class).
- Strong initiative, energy and confidence completing assignments with limited supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Tableau.
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) and relationship management skills.
- Strong team player with an entrepreneurial predisposition and strong interpersonal skills as required to interact with personnel across the team and firm.
