Job DescriptionThe role
Checkout.com is looking for an Associate, Financial Reporting to join our global financial and management reporting team reporting to the Director of Financial and Management Reporting.
This is a new role, with the opportunity to enhance numerous new processes in a rapidly expanding global company. The role is in a multi-layered global finance team consolidating and reporting our global results, assisting the local Financial Control and Treasury teams around the world.
The focus will be on building and delivering a robust set of processes and controls for the complex global intercompany environment, operating the intercompany processes alongside the global Financial Control and Treasury teams and reconciling the global intercompany balance.
The role will also be heavily involved in the global finance and management reporting processing including monthly & quarterly internal reporting and annual financial statements.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, with ability to deliver to short timelines, think outside the box to continuously improve processes, with excellent coordination and communication skills. You will be joining a growing Financial Reporting and global Financial Control team that is building a best in class control environment.
QualificationsWhat we're looking for
Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA) with 1-2 years post qualified experience.
Able to work towards tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment and design new processes and controls from scratch as we continue to build towards a fully controls based environment
Comfortable being a contact point in finance and liaising with numerous stakeholders across Checkout and external providers including auditors and accountants.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel.
Systems knowledge, particularly Workday or equivalent ERP would be highly desirable.
Experience with multinational organisations with high volume and value of transactions
