This role is part of our advisory services business and involves working directly with global institutional
investors such as investment banks, hedge funds and private equity firms. The candidate will be expected
to take lead and support various stages of investment transactions across credit and alternative asset
classes. They will ensure timely and high-quality deliverables, contribute to valuation methodologies, and
potentially oversee a small team.
•Work closely with the clients in supporting them through various stages in the life cycle of an investment transaction across various credit and alternative asset classes – loan portfolios, securitisations and other structured credit products, specialty financing and real estate.
• Create and review flexible, transparent financial models for periodic independent valuations, adhering to regulatory standards for alternative investment funds.

• Take the lead in designing valuation approaches for new asset types and contribute to enhancing
the firm’s valuations platform for private markets.
• Develop financial models from scratch, model scenarios, run sensitivity analyses, and design
payment waterfalls.
• Work as an extended team of clients on underwriting investments which includes creating financial
models from scratch, modelling for different scenarios, running sensitivities, analytics and payment
waterfalls.
• Present the analysis or cashflow models to clients/third parties on calls as well as assist in the
preparation of investment summaries and credit memos.
• Present the valuation outputs to clients, investors and auditors on calls.
• Mentor junior team members, conduct technical training, and oversee smaller teams to ensure
timely project completion.
Requirements
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an MBA from an accredited institution, certifications
like CFA, FRM, CAIA are a plus.
• Understanding of financial statement, securitisations, prepayments, defaults, and various capital
structures.
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling using MS Excel; VBA knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with valuations in private markets.
• Ability to work independently and manage smaller groups to ensure timely project completion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments under pressure to meet deadlines.
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics from an accredited institution
