Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Information Technology Engineer to join our GOLDesp ERP support team located in Hazelwood, Missouri.
This position will be an integral member of the GOLDesp ERP support team. GOLDesp is our Manufacturing, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO), and Supply Chain management system of record that provides our customers (internal and external) total lifecycle sustainment for maintenance, supply management, inventory visibility/availability, and financials.
This position analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and improved processes. It also represents Government Training and Engineering (GTE) to define requirements and business cases for technology developments. Additionally, this role will be responsible for coordinating with business and technology teams to integrate system and data requirements such as system functions, output requirements, data acquisition, report development, and execution of user testing and acceptance. Lastly, this role will be required to support, provide training, and provide access for deployed systems.
Position Responsibilities:
- Gathers business information requirements and coordinates change activities
- Supports development and implementation of business architecture
- Supports monitoring and performs quality control actions relating to business information
- Develops and updates informational dashboards and reports
- Conducts system readiness testing for business processes
- Provides administration and monitoring of systems post-implementation
- Supports project management tasks related to business information integration activities
- Supports system changes and integration efforts
- Provides end-user support to include immediate system data guidance, training design and delivery
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 1+ years' experience working with an ERP system (such as SAP, GOLDesp) from an IT standpoint
- 1+ years' experience in report writing utilizing a database (SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Crystal Reports etc)
- 1+ years' experience in inventory management, supply chain, demand forecasting, engineering, or simulation
- 1+ years' experience in a role that requires project management skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Outlook, Excel, MS Project
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years' experience working in field related to degree
- 2+ years' experience in report writing utilizing a database (SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Crystal Reports etc)
- Experience working with an ERP system from an IT standpoint in a manufacturing environment
- 1+ years' customer service experience
- 1+ years' Teamcenter experience
- Experience with functional testing and/or user acceptance testing
- Experience in a role requiring process improvement and change management
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
