Job Summary
The Associate Engineer, Test Engineering - Product Development, is responsible for supporting product development activities and improving the efficiency of laboratory operations. The role involves analyzing processes, solving technical issues, and implementing solutions to optimize productivity and quality. The Associate Engineer will also monitor lab performance, drive process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
•Optimize laboratory processes to improve efficiency and support product development
•Analyze and solve operational issues, providing timely resolutions
•Monitor daily lab operations, providing performance reports and assessments
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and document processes
•Ensure compliance with operational standards and quality requirements
•Lead continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on efficiency and cost savings
•Provide training and mentorship to lab personnel for skill development.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering, or a related field
•0-5 years of related industry experience, preferably in product development or lab operations
•Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to drive process improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams
•Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python) is an advantage
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
•Willingness to work in shifts as needed to support lab operations
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
