ADI’s Product Engineers (Wafer Fab Support) apply their talents to solve challenging problems in a world class manufacturing environment. We dig deep into various circuit architectures and collaborate across technical teams and boundaries to solve problems at their root.

ADI GO&T team is seeking a Product Engineer to support assigned IC products through the full product life-cycle. Assignment may be in industrial, medical, cloud and data center, automotive, or mobility solutions groups. 

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor of Science / Master’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Material Science
  • With a background in Microelectronics

Knowledge, skill and abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to work collaboratively across engineering disciplines to solve problems. 
  • Ability to own and drive projects with minimal supervision. 
  • Knowledge of analog integrated circuit design 
  • Ability to do circuit analysis and understand complex circuit functionalities. 
  • Familiarity with laboratory bench tools and operation 

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Yield Enhancement on a variety of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits.
  • Define the scope and impact of problems by identifying failure modes, the quantity of material affected, and defect density analysis.
  • Perform electrical characterization of ADI ICs in the lab using various bench tools
  • Perform die-level fault isolation and physical failure analysis to determine the root cause of yield loss.
  • Drive resolution to problems that you identify with other groups such as fab, test, or design
