We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Test Systems Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, repair, maintenance, upgrades, and calibration of complex test systems. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, committed to following standard operating procedures, and dedicated to ensuring all systems meet rigorous specifications and tolerances in a dynamic engineering environment.
Responsibilities:
Support in cost reduction, yield improvement, efficiency, and capacity improvements in the assigned process (sort, test, etc) to support the business objective.
Collaborate with the team in improving test system performance through periodic analysis of test system issues, finding the root causes, and implementing permanent measures to avoid recurrence.
Participate in design review, FMEA review, GRR of equipment, quality-related issues, production issues, risk assessment, potential problem analysis, and decision analysis.
Implement industry-standard tools in solving problems such as 8D,6-sigma, why-why analysis, PDCA/DMAIC, SPC, etc.
Support in the evaluation of test systems and instruments according to standard operating procedures, set-up, inspection, testing, and calibration of its peripherals in conformance to test system specifications and tolerances.
Support in installation, qualification, acceptance, and evaluation of new and incoming test systems, instruments, and peripherals.
Train technicians for the required technical skills needed in the department to become fully independent in performing their duties.
Qualifications:
Graduate of a bachelor’s degree in ECE or equivalent engineering degree.
Fresh graduate up to 2 years work experience as test system or product engineer.
Knowledgeable in industry-standard test system architecture (hardware, software, Dos/Windows/Unix) and peripherals (load boards, contactor boards, etc).
Ability to interpret schematics,
Fast learner and can render support beyond normal work hours.
Knowledgeable of the test system platforms with regards to hardware, software, and OS.
