ABOUT OUR ECONOMICS TEAM

Secretariat’s Economics team helps clients understand the numbers behind major business and legal questions. As part of our casework, our team members may analyze the impact of a merger on competition, estimate company losses in a dispute due to patent infringement or stolen trade secrets, determine employee fair compensation, or study the effect of market rules and regulations on businesses. Much of our work supports complex litigation, regulatory investigations, and business disputes, where our economists analyze evidence and help explain economic issues to courts, regulators, and decision-makers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Launch your career by putting your classroom skills to work on real cases, real data, and real business challenges. As an Associate, you will use your curiosity, analytical mindset, and communication skills to help clients navigate high-stakes decisions while learning directly from experienced experts in economics, intellectual property, finance, and litigation consulting.

Associates play an active role on project teams, working under the supervision of experienced case managers and alongside recent graduates and PhD economists to address complex business challenges.

This opportunity is ideal for students who enjoy asking “why,” digging into data, solving puzzles, researching new industries, and writing reports that turn complex information into a clear story.

The skills you develop as an Associate can support a wide range of career paths in consulting, economics, finance, analytics, and beyond.

If you are excited by economics, finance, math, data, or coding—and want a role where you can grow quickly, contribute early, and see the impact of your work—Secretariat is the place to build that momentum.

  • Dive into real-world data to uncover what is happening in companies, markets, and industries
