Job DescriptionThe Associate Director, Treasury Planning and Reporting is a key position in the Treasury organization. This position reports to the Director, Assistant Treasurer and plays a critical role in both tactical and strategic leadership in the activities related to actuals reporting and planning, cash flow forecasting and strategic analysis. This position has a very high level of exposure with monthly presentations to the Vice President, Corporate Treasurer as well as presentations directly to the CFO. The role serves as the key Treasury point of contact to CFP&A and other functions and is supported through one direct report.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Develop medium term and long-term cash flow and net interest expense forecasts
- Plan and report actuals the net interest expense impact of large executed L&A deals
- Present Plan, LBEs and LRP Packages to Treasurer and CFO
- Analyze and report monthly actual results
- Set annual Prelim and Final FX Plan rates for the corporation
- Analyze Corporate exchange variances vs Plan and other benchmarks
- Complete quarterly Treasury Earnings package which helps Sr Management understand Treasury impacts related to earnings calls
- Oversee FDP completion of quarterly 10-Q / 10-K packages which highlights cash, debt and hedging impacts in financial statements
- Analyze AbbVie’s exposure to market interest rate fluctuations
- Oversee various month-end and quarter-end reporting requirements and certifications as relating to respective cash and debt activities performed.
- Owner of debt administration in SAP Treasury Management
- Manage one Direct Report
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in progressive finance or accounting roles.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communicate skills with ability to present to Corporate Officers.
- Familiarity with SAP, HFM, and BPC is preferred.
- Strong excel and modeling skills.
