•Providing appropriate financial operational as well as strategic support to business operations for effective achievement of business objectives to ensure a sound financial standing and growth of the company
•Drive standardization and automatization in GDSO
Job Description
Major accountabilities:
- Business partner for Regulatory Affairs (RA):
- Finance business partner for entire RA function (~700 FTEs, ~$80m cost center across multiple locations)
- Proactively manage all reporting, monitoring and planning cycles for the RA function
- Part of GRA LT team, expected to drive results, ensure RA LT objectives are delivered within budget, guide LT on finance related topics and work closely with P&O·
- Part of the RA Staffing Committee
- Drive transformation in RA
- D&R monitoring:
- Monitoring local D&R budget with quarterly update and insight into MYF and TGT, review
- Market bottom-up submission and discuss with Regions the potential challenges / changes to be implemented in submission
- Ensure disciplined and accurate reporting by markets based on correct P&L line (RA, Medical, Clinical, etc)
- D&R line consolidation, drive saving initiatives and course correction or mitigating actions when deviating from agreed targets
- Projects:
- Independently drive projects (strategic as well as operational projects)·
- Implement cost center tracking and forecasting in the GDSO network
- Develop ROIC model, monitor impact and provide strategy initiatives to improve ROIC
- Improve and automate development project tracking tools to improve project delivery and forecasting accuracy

Work Experience:
