Job Description:
The Associate Director - Data Analytics plays a vital role in supporting AbbVie Patient Services - Data Analytics team. This individual will act as a SME and conduct detailed analyses, answer business questions, and provide actionable insights related to the operational success for AbbVie. In addition, the Associate director will be a point of contact with internal and client stakeholders across all program teams to define Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”) and unique business or reporting requirements focused on the identification of trends and opportunities for improvement of the programs. The Associate director will also provide executive summaries and perform client brand specific analyses as required.
Responsibilities include:

Coordinates and consults on the analysis of complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insights for decision-makers.

Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.

Directly produces datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.

Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.

Supports the construction of impact assessments, forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge.

May coordinate activities of other personnel and provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues.

May manipulate and transform data to optimize analyses.
Minimum Requirements:
-
A strong analytical record, excellent problem-solving abilities, and strong quantitative skills
-
Highly Proficient in PowerBI and SQL tools
-
Has experience with Microsoft Dynamics
-
Has experience with Patient Support Services specifically call center
-
Must have experience presenting insights to executive leadership
-
Exceptional communication skills and be a proven team contributor
-
Able to think quickly on feet and be able to pivot with business direction

Good project management, time management and organizational skills
-
Excellent conversational and business English (written and oral)
-
A willingness or ability to travel as needed (<10% on average)
