Do work that matters

As an Associate Director, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of high-value retail and wholesale clients, acting as their trusted partner across market engagement and execution.

Operating within an execution-only framework, you’ll lead informed and compliant market discussions, distribute capital markets opportunities, and identify new UHNW and sophisticated investor relationships.

You’ll also play a key role within the Platinum Desk, contributing insights on client trends, product positioning and service evolution to continually enhance our premium offering.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and deepen relationships with a portfolio of sophisticated clients

  • Lead compliant market discussions within the general advice framework

  • Support distribution of capital markets opportunities (IPOs, placements, structured transactions)

  • Identify and develop new UHNW and sophisticated investor opportunities

  • Navigate complex client scenarios, including risk and escalation conversations

  • Contribute to business growth through client insights and opportunity identification

  • Collaborate across CommSec and the Group to deliver a seamless client experience

We’re interested in hearing from you if you have:

  • Relative experience in financial markets

  • Strong experience working with sophisticated, wholesale or UHNW clients

  • Deep market knowledge with the ability to communicate clearly and compliantly

  • Proven track record managing complex client relationships and delivering commercial outcomes

  • Strong regulatory awareness and sound judgement in client interactions

  • Experience distributing investment opportunities within a general advice framework

  • RG146 accreditation (General and Securities required)
