Role Overview

Treasury & Payment Solutions (TPS) Sales is strengthening its Business Management team through a dedicated Sales Intelligence & Data Management capability. The function will bridge enterprise data and front-line decision-making by converting fragmented information into trusted client, coverage, portfolio and performance intelligence.

We are seeking a strategic, analytically rigorous leader who can own the TPS Sales data-to-decision lifecycle, translate complex datasets into clear commercial insights, and build sustainable reporting and management processes. This individual will act as a trusted advisor to TPS Sales leadership and partner across Finance, Data & Analytics, Product, Technology and other enterprise functions to improve decision-making, sales execution and change outcomes.

Mandate

Establish and operate a trusted TPS Sales intelligence capability that connects enterprise data foundations with TPS-specific client identity, coverage ownership, performance logic and commercial context. The role will enable leadership to make repeatable, evidence-based decisions on growth, portfolio quality, sales capacity, resource deployment and strategic execution.

This Position Offers

  • High visibility with senior leaders across TPS, CCB and enterprise functions.
  • Broad exposure to sales strategy, client and portfolio analytics, performance management, governance, risk and transformation.
  • The opportunity to shape how TPS Sales uses data to optimize coverage, capacity, growth and execution.
  • A dynamic environment where critical thinking, ownership, collaboration and proactive problem-solving are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the TPS Sales data-to-decision lifecycle, establishing trusted and repeatable foundations for client, coverage, portfolio and performance intelligence.
  • Establish trusted client and coverage intelligence by helping design sustainable solutions for fragmented client identity, Client-RM-TPS Sales ownership mapping, portfolio assignments and ongoing maintenance across systems.
  • Deliver coverage, capacity and portfolio gearing assessments on a bi-annual basis, identifying under-covered, over-covered and unassigned client relationships to inform resource deployment, portfolio optimization and workforce planning.
  • Produce monthly sales and product intelligence at the national, regional, team, salesperson and product levels, including pipeline, onboarding, activity, revenue, portfolio and performance insights.
  • Translate complex datasets from multiple sources into concise, executive-ready reporting and narratives that highlight performance drivers, risks, growth opportunities, market trends and capacity constraints.
  • Support forecast and performance-review rhythms by clarifying results against plan and prior periods, identifying variances early, and improving visibility into leading and lagging indicators and controllable performance drivers.
  • Monitor adoption and effectiveness of sales tools, platforms and strategic initiatives through behavioural insight, process-adherence reporting and recommendations that strengthen execution and change outcomes.
  • Partner across Finance, Data & Analytics, Product, Technology and other functions to improve data quality, reporting infrastructure, business rules and scalable processes while ensuring TPS Sales requirements and commercial context are represented.
  • Serve as the TPS Sales intelligence partner for strategic and transformation initiatives, providing structured analysis, executive reporting, ad hoc insights and data support for initiatives requiring TPS Sales execution.
  • Operate with a high degree of ownership and initiative, managing recurring and time-sensitive deliverables while bringing structure to ambiguity and advancing high-priority work for TPS Sales leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4-7+ years of experience in financial services, management consulting, business intelligence, sales strategy, business management or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to reconcile, synthesize and interpret large or complex datasets from multiple sources.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate analysis into commercial insight, executive narratives and practical recommendations.
  • Experience with performance reporting, portfolio analytics, sales operations, financial planning or management information is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of data quality, client identity, ownership mapping, business rules and reporting governance is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and executive storytelling skills, with strong attention to clarity, accuracy and audience needs.
  • A collaborative, relationship-driven approach with the credibility to influence without direct authority across a complex organization.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, establishing structure and building scalable solutions from evolving business requirements.
  • Ability to manage recurring and time-sensitive deliverables with precision and strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with Power BI, Salesforce, data visualization or pipeline-management tools is preferred.

Core Capabilities

  • Commercial and strategic thinking
  • Data synthesis and insight generation
  • Executive communication and storytelling
  • Stakeholder influence and cross-functional partnership
  • Process design and disciplined execution
  • Ownership, judgment and proactive problem-solving
