About this roleWe are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the Service Management team within Mission Control. In this role, you will help improve how we run and support large-scale systems by building automation, enhancing observability, and strengthening production reliability. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to reduce manual effort, improve system health, and support modern, scalable operations. This position offers hands-on experience with enterprise platforms, DevOps practices, and emerging AI-enabled operational tooling.
What you’ll doBuild and automate- Develop automation, tools, and services to improve service management workflows
- Build scripts and applications for monitoring, alert handling, and reporting
- Use APIs and infrastructure-as-code to create scalable and repeatable solutions
- Support production and pre-production environments, including deployments and onboarding
- Participate in incident response, recovery, and post-incident reviews
- Contribute to disaster recovery testing and operational readiness
- Enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability across systems
- Identify recurring issues and drive improvements through automation
- Partner with teams to improve production readiness and supportability
- Contribute to AI-enabled solutions such as intelligent assistants, automated runbooks, and incident insights
- Help teams adopt tools that improve productivity and reduce repetitive tasks
- Work within established change, risk, and control frameworks
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and audit requirements
- Maintain documentation and improve operational processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in DevOps, software engineering, or a related role
- Experience with Python or scripting for automation
- Familiarity with Linux or Unix environments
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Knowledge of incident and change management processes
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, or platform engineering
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Interest in AI/ML or generative AI applications
- Understanding of secure automation and enterprise controls
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments
- You enjoy building and improving systems through automation
- You take a thoughtful, structured approach to problem solving
- You collaborate effectively across engineering and operations teams
- You are curious and open to learning new tools, including AI-driven solutions
- You are motivated to improve reliability and efficiency at scale
