Associate Data Engineer (5518)

As Associate Data Engineer, you’ll assist in data analysis and supports data engineering and database implementation projects.  Acting as a supporting Data Engineer on a project team, the Architect actively assists on data engineering project tasks including validation of approaches, implementation of designs, following integration steps and executing strategies to prepare and align data for efficient use within the Advana platform in support of long-term use taking advantage of Models as a Service.

What you’ll do:

• Provide engineering support to all customers working to leverage platforms to build data products and data mesh services
• Register, ingest, store, search, and retrieve data products
• Develop suites of data quality business logic
• Train, test, and deploy production AI/ML models
• Integrate and maintain metadata.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• 1+ years of related experience (minimum).
• An active U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance.
• Ability to work with a team using an Agile methodology to provide high-quality service to our customers through the design and development of enterprise data flows.
• Ability to define requirements and algorithms needed to transform transactional data into analytical data objects, and to develop pipelines to transform source data into analytical data objects that can be used by customers and analysts to visualize trends and promote analysis of the data.
• Ability to build and manage workflows used to ingest, profile, cleanse, and curate data and ensure workflows are built according to defined standards and consistent with pipeline specifications and customer data requirements. * Ability to document data management designs, solutions, processes, and procedures and present them to teammates when needed.
• Ability to apply knowledge of data security, ethics surrounding the handling of sensitive data, exception handling, data governance, metadata management, and change management.
• Experience with Python, SQL, and/or PySpark languages
