As a Data Domain Architect Associate on the CCB Finance Data & Insights Team, you will assist in the development, testing and on-going maintenance of finance data products for the Credit Card and Connected Commerce line of business. You will play a key role in delivering daily and monthly internal, external, and regulatory financial results, and will identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes and utilize automation tools. You will extract, analyze, and summarize data for ad hoc stakeholder requests, and partner with our Information Technology team to transform our data environment to a modernized cloud platform.
Job Responsibilities
Execute critical monthly financial reporting processes, using Excel, SQL, and Essbase
Eliminate manual processes with automation tools
Develop expertise in our financial reporting platforms, Credit Card and Connected Commerce profit & loss drivers, data analysis, and emerging technologies such as Databricks and ThoughtSpot
Extract, analyze, and summarize data to support ad hoc management and stakeholder requests.
Gather requirements, communicate with stakeholders, and partner with Technology teams to implement enhancements.
Participate in data environment transformation initiatives, including data architecture, data quality, and platform modernization work.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skill:
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or other with relevant work experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in data analytics, architecture, or financial reporting systems
- Proficient user of Excel
- Experience with relational databases, data modeling, and writing/optimizing SQL to pull and summarize large datasets, create reports, and perform ad hoc analyses.
- Highly motivated and self-directed, with curiosity and a demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
