The Role
As an Associate Data Curator at Lightcast, you will be instrumental in organizing, cataloging, and maintaining our valuable datasets. Your role will involve ensuring data accuracy, improving data quality, and facilitating seamless data access for analysis and reporting, contributing to the success of data-driven initiatives.
Major Responsibilities:
- Data Organization: Curate and organize datasets, ensuring they are logically structured and readily accessible for analysis.
- Data Quality Assurance: Verify and enhance data quality by identifying and rectifying errors, inconsistencies, and missing information.
- Metadata Management: Develop and maintain metadata standards to enhance data discoverability and usability.
Skills/Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data management and curation techniques.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities within a team environment.
Education and Experience:
- 1-2 years in a relevant data-related role (internship or entry-level experience considered).
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Information Science, Library Science) preferred.
