The Data Analytics Associate will join the CIB Global Finance and Business Management organization, assisting with data & management reporting development agenda for regulatory operations. The candidate will learn core business processes, develop metrics/management reporting, and provide decision support via ad hoc reporting and data analytics.
The Data Analytics Associate on the team will have the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives that help drive profitability and efficiency across the Commercial and Investment Banking organization. They will be responsible for assisting the business in ongoing development and maintenance of data analytics, insights, and reporting
Job Responsibilities:
Define, monitor, and report key management metrics around the health of an operations program
Manage a high-volume and high-complexity reporting & dashboards book of work, leveraging rigorous project management discipline
Partner with senior leaders in advancing the business analysis and reporting agenda, focused on insights delivery in areas around operational efficiency, cost modeling, capacity planning, quality enhancements, etc.
Define, design, and drive high priority strategic initiatives with senior level visibility in areas above
Develop a deep understanding of systems and processes in order to extract insights from existing data
Develop strong partnerships with business, IT application owners and data management teams to align on a roadmap for continual improvement while providing support around in-flight projects
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
4 to 7 years of experience, preferably(but not mandatory) in financial services or commercial banking
Hands-on experience with
Must have : Programming languages: SQL, Python
Any Data visualization tool. For ex: Qlik Sense or Tableau.
MS Office
Good to have
Knowledge of Cloud & Distributed file systems, e.g., AWS Redshift, AWS Data bricks, Snowflake
Stakeholder management experience
Prompt engineering for day to day activities
Graduate/Post Graduate preferably with Computer/Finance/Statistics as core areas
Ability to understand business problems/processes and design solutions/methodologies that are rooted in data
Effectively communicate insights/recommendations (verbal and written) with strong ownership skills
Ability to design and execute repeatable and scalable data solutions (extraction / mining / modeling / visualization)
Team player with a demonstrated strong work ethic.
